“When I think about graduation, I think about a lot of things. Grad gowns, happy faces, bouqets of flowers, walking in extra high heels just to look more polished…the list is endless. But what I see on the day itself are just the faces of the people I’ve spent the last few years with.
The friends that have stuck it out with me through crazy deadlines, nasty tutors, delicious gossip. I remember the nights we would lament about whether we would actually make it to the end unscathed, since assignments felt never-ending.
We would also wistfully talk about our futures. Where we would be in 10 years, who would get married first, who would be the most successful, and so on. We would celebrate everyone’s birthdays and always try to outdo the last, racking our brains for the most creative possible ideas, but always ending up huddled around a tiny table at some eatery making the loudest possible amount of noise.
These friends I’ve made in my years at Temasek Polytechnic have given me some of the most invaluable experiences in my life. Of course we have best friends. People we are always closer to in a group. Yet, the most amazing part of all is how everyone just gels together anyway - because we’re so much better as One.

The rest of the world is in L.A going to catch yet another SMTOWN concert tomorrow, and I have to wait till 31st May just to watch a previous concert of theirs on the big screen. TT TT
